Volcano!!!

Vv for Volcano!  The kids loved creating their own volcano.  Their faces were priceless as they observed what was happening during the experiment!  Try it at home place baking soda in a cup along with a little food coloring then gently add the special ingredient (vinegar) and you've got your very own Volcano!

Friendship Fruit Salad!

Creating our Friendship Fruit Salad was a hit!  The kids love to help in the kitchen cutting up fruit!  Something to try at home; give them a plastic knife and fruit and they will know what to do!

Gingerbread Houses!

I finally got the pictures up from when we had all of our "Special Guests" come in to help us decorate Gingerbread Houses!  I hope you enjoy them!!

January!

Morning Preschool:
January has been filled with Winter Activities! This week the Morning Class will be focusing on Winter Animals and the letter Ww! Winter Wonderland, Indoor Snowball fights, creating winter habitats for our winter animals, we will be playing with the parachute this week with our winter animal friends and making finger tracing paint bags to practice writing the letter Ww!  We will also be talking a lot about penguins too!  Be sure to ask your student what they did each day with us!

Afternoon Preschool:
January started off with many activities focusing on Winter.  Since our Theme this month is Seasons we will be switching from Winter to Spring this week.  Spring we will observe a rain storm with shaving cream, water and food coloring! We will be making our own rainbows with our snack one day this week.  Our letter focus will be the letter Ww.  We have games we will be playing this week as well focusing on identifying letters and numbers!
